My little guy loves color and bubbles. So, I combined the two to make a family fun DIY project and created an an instant favorite!
With a few items from around the house you can make your very own colored bubbles in a few minutes. (And some more good news: they don't stain!)
Supplies:
- 1 1/2 cups hot water
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup dish soap
- washable paint
- 1 jar
- 1 bubble wand
- scissors
Instructions:
Step 1: Mix the light corn syrup, hot water and dish soap very well.
Step 2: Add your paint color of choice. We used washable finger paint and it worked very well.
Step 3: Pour your new concoction into your jar. You can use another container, but the colored solution looks so pretty in a clear jar.
Step 4: I had collected several bubble wands over the summer and just cut one or two of those just enough so they would fit in the jar when the lid is screwed on.
Step 5: That's it! You're ready for some colored bubble fun. Enjoy!
