Diablo Cody announced the birth of her son.
The Oscar-winning 'Juno' screenwriter has given birth to a baby boy, she shared on Twitter. "We had our boy early this morning! Marcello Daniel Maurio, 7lbs, 2 oz, lightly mustachioed." Diablo (real name Brook Busey) had announced her pregnancy back in April, along with the news that she had married her husband, Daniel Maurio, last summer. She wasn't tyring to keep anything secret, she just didn't alert the press with official announcements.
Diablo penned the screenplays for 'Juno' and 'Jennifer's Body', and also wrote a book on her early "pre-California" life. She currently works as a writer on the hit Showtime series 'The United States of Tara', contributes a hilarious column for Entertainment Weekly, and just started a new web show on YouTube called "Red Band Trailer". Her husband is a staff member on "Chelsea Lately".
