The Best Online Parenting Courses
Starting Solids
Starting Solids is the only baby-led weaning resource you need if you're about to embark on feeding your little one and are looking to do so via baby-led weaning, which more and more research is showing helps prevent picky eating.
First off, Solid Starts has an AMAZING (and FREE!) app that breaks down, via visuals, how to feed your baby at various ages. Simply type in a food you'd like to serve - like avocado - and it will give you an age suggestion, allergy information, health/nutrition info, recipes and most importantly information on how to serve it. Their online course takes it to the next level by providing comprehensive information on starting solids with a focus on preventing picky eating. Everything is presented via short, digestible (no pun intended!) videos. Besides video content, there are a number of useful downloadable PDFs.
You can buy the course for $50 or individual videos for $3.99-$5.99.
Kinactive Kids
Kinactive Kids takes a whole-body approach to physical therapy. In the online course, Dr. Emily Heisey helps infants, toddlers and kids reach new milestones and build gross motor skills. She has three courses : rolling, crawling and walking. Each course is broken down into short, digestible and easy-to-follow/implement videos.
The courses are $99-$129.
Dr. Becky Good Inside
Dr. Becky's courses and workshops are designed to equip parents to handle any tantrum, fit, fight or tricky situation in their home. You'll walk away with strategies to tackle major challenges, but simple enough to actually remember and use in the moment. Dr. Becky also has a podcast that offers a ton of great insight, especially when it comes to effectively communicating with our kids.
Workshops are $54/each and she also offers bundles between $98-$220.
