Lisa Rinna, of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, shared a touching tribute to her mother, Lois DeAndrade Rinna, after her passing on Monday. Often a regular guest of Housewives, the matriarch was much adored by fans of the reality series.
Lois Suffered a Major Stroke, After Surviving One
Mourning began last week when Rinna shared with her Instagram followers that her mother was “transitioning.” Lois, 93-years-old, had suffered a major stroke, reports People Magazine.

“I know how much you appreciate and LOVE Lois so I need to tell you that she has had a stroke,” Rinna wrote on Instagram. “So let’s celebrate her and send her so much love while she transitions. I was so conflicted to share this very very sad news with you, but I know you would want to know.”
This news was shared alongside a celebratory video of Lois dancing.
The formidable woman had already rehabilitated once before from a stroke, six years prior. Which Rinna noted required “months of rehabilitation.” According to Rinna, she was “one of the lucky ones,” to have survived that stroke.

Helpfully, it seems both mother and daughter were thankful for the extra time. Which undoubtedly lessens the blow of this loss, if only marginally.
Lisa Rinna Celebrates Lois’ Life Well-Lived
The former daytime soap star posted two further videos of her mom, with captions reading, “My hero,” and “Let’s all raise a glass to Lois.”

Soon followed by the news sharing Lois’ passing, paired with a photo from the beloved mom’s wedding day. It was captioned, “Lois DeAndrade Rinna, June 7, 1928 – November 15, 2021, 5:05 am. Heaven Has a New Angel.”

From there, Rinna mourned and celebrated with fans of Lois. She shared a clip from Housewives, stating she “loved being on the show.” This was followed by photos from her mom’s youth. Captions joyfully remembered Lois saying, “she loved a good cocktail,” and she rocked “the same hairdo for 75 years bitches.”

Rinna seems to know her mother well, and how she would wish to be celebrated. We wish her much love during this difficult time and hope she is surrounded by loved ones telling wonderful stories of Lois.
