Jennifer Lawrence May Have Had Her Baby, But Please Respect Privacy

Jennifer Lawrence may have given birth to her first child! We say maybe, as this report comes from TMZ, by way of The Cut, so it’s speculatory. If it is true, though, heartfelt congratulations are in order for the esteemed actor and, in turn, respectful privacy.

Lawrence has, in fact, spoken about how she’ll approach motherhood being a celebrity. Her stance is that no one will have any access or right to her child, as stated in a Vanity Fair interview.

Respect the Privacy of Celebs Like Jennifer Lawrence

Being a new mom is stressful enough. Adding on worries about your baby being on the front page, or worse, someone financially benefiting from their picture is awful.

Lawrence, of course, is no stranger to the downsides of celebrity. None of them are. It comes with the job and most handle it with far more grace than I can imagine. The actor seems to have taken a proactive approach to being clear that her child isn’t available to the public. Her work is available, but her private life and family are not.

In other words, don’t expect information to circulate. Just be happy for the new mom.

When interviewed by Vanity Fair, they asked Lawrence about how she felt when someone asked her about her upcoming baby. “If I was at a dinner party, and somebody was like, ‘Oh my God, you’re expecting a baby,’ I wouldn’t be like, ‘God, I can’t talk about that. Get away from me, you psycho!'” she explained. “But every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives as much as I can.” She goes on to say that she doesn’t want “anyone to feel welcome to their existence,” and does not want to include them “in this part of my work.”

In general, Lawrence always seems to cherish what isn’t in the public spotlight. And, if you think about it, you would do the same in such a position.
