Victoria Monét is all set to publish her first-ever children’s picture book titled “Everywhere You Are” soon. Alea Marley is the illustrator for the book which will be available in both Spanish and English editions, as reported by PEOPLE.

In a recent email interview with the magazine, the Grammy Award-winning singer revealed that the book helped her channel deep feelings regarding motherhood. Monét is the mother of a little girl, Hazel Monét Gaines, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend, John Gaines.

The artist expressed, “In a way, writing this book healed a portion of naturally occurring mom guilt for not being able to be in two places at once.” She further explained that despite wanting to spend every waking hour with their child in the present, it is not “realistic” for modern-day working mothers. Monét emphasized that she wanted to reinforce a mutual connection between a child and a parent so that, “no matter how far apart,” they “are together through love” they have for one another.
