Two weeks ago, Keoghan spoke about the accusations of him being a “deadbeat dad” on “The Louis Theroux Podcast.” The Irish actor asserted he is “not an absent father” and condemned people for using Brandon as “ammunition or whatever.”

In the latest episode of the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast, Barry Keoghan talks about “starting to enjoy life as it is” and cherishing his time with his 2-year-old son. He discusses “having a lovely relationship” with his little boy, Brando, and further notes that watching his son grow gives him a sense of immense “love” and “hope.” Keoghan then gives an update about his son and his interests. “He’s starting to talk now – give back chat,” the actor said while chucking a little and the crowd followed suit.
The “Saltburn” star talks about the fun part of his and Brando’s father-son bond. Keoghan tells Josh Horowitz how it is nearly impossible to circumvent his son’s “puppy eyes” because of which he ultimately gives in to the boy’s wishes. “I mean when they look at you you’re like, ‘Okay, here’s chocolate. I’ll eat it with you,” he continues. The 32-year-old briefly talks about his son’s interests, “You know cars are his thing,” and later clarifies that it’s the “Cars” movie he loves.
