Kim Kardashian will soon have to follow in her mother Kris Jenner’s footsteps in becoming a momager to daughter North West. In a clip from the family’s popular reality show, “The Kardashians” Season 6, Kim confessed to being “conflicted” about the 11-year-old’s career path. While speaking to her family members, the SKIMS founder revealed she didn’t expect to be bestowed upon the new title so early in her life. She also expressed not being ready to take on the role of a momager just yet.
Given how North West has been paving a path for her in the entertainment industry, it won’t be too long before she will need a full-time manager. Whether it will be her mother or not, time will tell.
Kim Kardashian expresses concern over North West’s career choices
Kim Kardashian is coming face-to-face with her daughter North West’s ever-growing professional career. In a clip from “The Kardashians” Season 6, Kim discussed being North’s momager with Kris Jenner and sister Khloe. Kim expressed how she has been busier than before now that she has to manage North.
While speaking to her family members, Kim said that being a momager to her daughter wasn’t on her “bingo card for this year.” Matriarch Kris Jenner, who has been a momager to all five of her daughters, agreed that the role takes a lot of work.
Khloe Kardashian echoed her sister’s sentiments, stating how Kim already had a lot on her plate. The latter further opened up about a dilemma that would make being a momager to North even more difficult. Kim noted that she would have to choose between her and her daughter if the latter has a shoot.
In a confessional, Kim expressed concern over North West’s career choices. She wanted to make sure that her daughter could balance both personal and professional. The SKKN founder continued, “All of the work experiences are balanced out with just enough fun life experiences. I just want balance.”
Meanwhile, North West has been booked and busy with various projects. In May, she starred as Young Simba in a live production of Disney’s “The Lion King.” She also made an appearance on her dad Kanye West’s (aka Ye) song “Talking / Once Again” last February. Most recently, she contributed to FKA Twigs’ song “Childlike Things.”
