Expecting Twins? Babysense Has A Game-Changing Split Screen Monitor

Even when room sharing, a baby camera is a must in my opinion. Babies are LOUD sleepers and they often make noises that sound like crying while still asleep. If you don’t have a camera you might end up waking up your baby as you check whether or not they’re sleeping. There is nothing worse than unintentionally waking a sleeping baby! With twins, however, or if you have two babies close in age it can be annoying to, in the middle of the night, switch between screens to figure out where the noise is coming from. That’s where Babysense‘s new HD SplitScreen (HDS2) 2 Camera Baby Video Monitor comes in.

You probably know the brand for developing the world’s first non-touch breathing movement monitor for infants – the company was founded in 1991 and developed it soon thereafter. Since they’ve come out with a variety of products and this latest one in particular is a standout in a confusing market.

As you can see from the image above, the screen is clear (obviously when babies are asleep and in the pitch black it’s not as clear but it’s still immediately obvious if eyes are open or closed) and unlike most competing products you see both kids on one screen.

It’s also internet and WiFi-free. While that means you need to charge the monitor more or less daily and that you can’t access the camera when you aren’t home it also means, on the flip side, that you don’t need to worry about hacking or potentially harmful waves hitting your baby’s head.

It also has 2-way talk back functionality and built-in lullabies with white noise, so you can sooth your baby from another room or as you’re making your way to the room. Lastly, it has temperature alerts.
