I came of age in the ’90s, and I don’t know about you but I’m completely obsessed with all the newly-minted ’90s hip hop radio stations that seem to be popping up everywhere. I can’t decide whether it’s awesome or depressing that the music of my high school days is now deemed old enough to warrant dedicated radio stations, rather than just being folded into regular top 40/hip hop stations.
Either way, it’s all got me nostalgic for the ’90s, and now that I have kids (that are young enough that they’ll wear whatever I put on them…yes, I’m savoring the days), I’m always on the lookout for tees for them that throw me back to my own childhood. Check out my favorite ’90s hip hop t-shirts for kids (that also double as a killer playlist) in the slideshow.
Who else is a ’90s hip hop lover out there? Which of these is your favorite?

Mo Money, Mo Problems
This one is almost an inside joke; unless you know the song you won't get it. But think of the head nods among the parents who do know it.

I Wish I Was a Little Bit Taller
BUY IT from BeausAndBowsBoutique
This one is so perfect for little ones, but keeps the song running through my head all day. Whatever happened to Skee-Lo anyway? -
If I Ruled the World
BUY IT from Made Kids
Another great one for littles because, let's be honest, they probably do rule the world at your house, right? -
Sippin on Milk and Juice
BUY IT from Sugar Plum Lane Baby on Etsy
Even Snoop Dog would love this play on his best known and much more adult song. Love the hashtag too.

It's All Good, Baby Baby
From one of my personal favorite songs of the '90s by one of my favorite rappers of all time, and I love the incorporation of the baby from the album cover on the tee as well.
-
It Was All a Dream
BUY IT from Passive Juice Motel
From the same song as tee #2 but with a completely different vibe.
-
I'm Going Back to Cali
I love this one for my Cali kid, but don't let it start any East Coast / West Coast feuds in your house.

Live and Cry in LA
...the place to be whether you're a baby or grown up. And a play on another Tupac classic.
