Angelina Jolie says that not allowing kids to be themselves is bad parenting.
Angelina is currently promoting her upcoming film, 'Salt', and shared with reporters her thoughts on good parenting and wanting the judgement of others to come to an end.
Her daughter Shiloh prefers to dress like her brothers in a "masculine" style, even asking for her hair to be cut short like theirs, and Angelina is fascinated by that. "I think she [Shiloh] is fascinating, the choices she is making. And I would never be the kind of parent to force somebody to be something they are not. I think that is just bad parenting. Children should be allowed to express themselves in whatever way they wish without anybody judging them because it is an important part of their growth."
Angelina also said that we have a long way to go as a society when it comes to being judgemental of one another. "Society always has something to learn when it comes to the way we judge each other, label each other. We have far to go,"
