Elin Nordegren breaks her silence.
The former wife of Tiger Woods opened up with People magazine – her first time being interviewed since the cheating scandal broke back in November. Elin shared her sadness over losing the family she had hoped for: "I have been through the stages of disbelief and shock, to anger and ultimately grief over the loss of the family I so badly wanted for my children." Despite all of that, she feels confident in the way she's handled it all. "I also feel stronger than I ever have. I have confidence in my beliefs, my decisions and myself."
Elin also shared her future plans, including giving herself plenty of time to bounce back: "My immediate plan is for the kids and me to continue to adjust to our new situation. I am going to keep taking classes, but my main focus is to try to give myself time to heal."
Elin's full interview can be found in the current issue of the magazine. I give her a lot of credit for being brave and opening up about such a private event that became such a public nightmare.
