Rihanna opens up about the possibility of becoming a mother soon.
Rihanna shared that she’s relying on her instincts, not her age, to determine when the time will be right for motherhood: “I don’t really plan on the age. It could be a year from now. It could be 10 years from now. Whenever is right. I mean, I have a lot of other stuff to accomplish before I get to kids. Whenever the time is right, I’ll just know.” She jokes: “If I had a girl, she’d probably be really rebellious. She would be like a bundle of karma.”
The singer shared that she would love to raise her kids in Barbados, where she was born and raised, but her career won’t make that a likely possibility. “I can’t live that far away from everything now, without kids. So I certainly couldn’t raise kids and [have a career] with the demanding schedule that I have.”
Rihanna recently broke her own music record by hitting number one with the song “Love the way You Lie” with Eminem. She has had the most number one singles in the last 10 years – a total of 7 so far.
