Two more celebrity marriages are heading for divorce.
Elizabeth Hurley announced on Twitter that she and husband Arun Nayar had separated a few months ago. Elizabeth shared the news because photos of her kissing cricketer Shane Warne were released yesterday, which would have ignited a "cheating" scandal since none of the media were aware of the split. The couple had been married since 2003. Elizabeth has an 8-year-old son, Damian, from a previous relationship.
She Tweeted: "Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this." And this morning she wrote: "Painful, sad days. Arun & I separated for private reasons but FTR he has been a great father to our son Damian & will always be in his life."
In another shocking split, "Dexter" co-stars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter announced that they have been separated for some time and are divorcing. Their reps released a joint statement: "Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce." The couple, who play brother and sister on the show, was married on New Year's Eve in 2009.
