Kourtney Kardashian Talks Co-Sleeping And Homemade Baby Food

Kourtney Kardashian opens up about hands-on parenting and making fresh baby food.

The reality mom, who is starring in the new series “Kourtney and Kim Take New York”, shared that she feels co-sleeping has made son Mason, 1, a happier baby: “If I’ve had a long day, then I have that time at night, which is really important to me. He’s such a happy baby, and I really think sleeping together has something to do with that. Mason did fall on the floor once by mistake. It was the worst moment. I freaked out and looked online. He was fine but crying, so I e-mailed the doctor at four in the morning. He wrote me right back, yet I stayed up all night to watch him sleep to make sure he was okay.”  Kourtney says she’s since moved the mattress to the floor and put pillows around the floor.

Kourtney wants to be sure to be as hands-on as possible: “If I’m not working, neither is the nanny.”  She’s getting great advice and tips from her own mom: “My mom bought me this amazing baby-food maker, the Beaba. I steam and puree fruits and vegetables, and they last for like four days.”

She also shared that she and Scott Disick made the decision to keep Mason from being shown on the new reality series.  They feel that it should be his choice whether or not to be involved in all “the craziness”, when he’s old enough to make the call.
