Kourtney Kardashian reveals why there’s no cut-off age for co-sleeping
Kourtney Kardashian got candid about the benefits of co-sleeping with kids on the new episode of “The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast.” She said, “It’s something that mammals have been doing since time existed.” One of the co-hosts, Michael Bosstick, then asked Kourtney if there was a cut-off regarding co-sleeping with children. The Lemme founder replied that “every person is different” and “every child is different.”
Kourtney has three kids with her ex Scott Disick — Mason, 14, Penelope, 12, and Reign, 9. She welcomed her youngest, Rocky, with her husband, Travis Barker, last year. She shared on the podcast, “My oldest son slept with me till he was seven,” further continuing, “At a certain time I would put him to bed in his room and then he would come in my room.” The Kardashian star recalled that at seven Mason stopped doing so. “He was like ‘I’m done with you, I sleep in my own room,'” she said.
The Lemme founder also shared that her daughter, Penelope, slept with her “pretty much till she was eleven.” After Bosstick mentioned how it can get tricky for parents to get their alone time while practicing co-sleeping, Kourtney said, “Both parents being aligned on that is really important.” She continued by saying that her husband “loves it too.” The mother-of-four then noted that this phase of children goes “so fast.”
