Amanda Seyfried recently revealed that her daughter, Nina, will not share one particular toy with her brother, Thomas. In an interview with PEOPLE, the actor went candid about her parenting journey at the event for Make It Cute x Babylist Holiday in Beverly Hills on December 10. She talked about how her 7-year-old daughter has set “boundaries” regarding things that are very close to her heart.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, actor Amanda Seyfried opened up about her daughter Nina setting “clear boundaries” at a young age. She explained that it is also the reason why one particular toy is completely off-limits for her 4-year-old son, Thomas.
Seyfried disclosed, “My seven-year-old … she’s very specific about the things she loves. The American Girl Dolls, he’s not allowed to touch.” She further explained, “[Nina] has very clear boundaries as to what he can touch and he can’t.” The mother of two added, “But if it’s outside of the private zone, then it’s fair game, and they’re pretty good at sharing.”
During the interview, Seyfried also talked about how her life is on their farm, which is located in upstate New York. She said, “I sit and I crochet, or I go to the gym in the barn, or I go out to coffee with a fellow parent or a friend upstate.” The actor then revealed, “I get a lot of alone time on a train when I go to the city.” Moreover, she explained that her lifestyle involves a lot of “knitting” and “crocheting.”
Seyfried further disclosed the Christmas tradition they follow as a family and it’s all about staying at home and celebrating together. She also goes on a special “girls-trip” with her daughter to her “best friend’s house down south” to celebrate New Year.
