Backgrid shared exclusive photos of Jolie and Knox buying water and other necessary items at a store amid disastrous wildfires in LA that have burned thousands of acres after sparking on January 7. Similar to the actor, other celebrities are coming forward to help victims and loved ones whom the bushfires may have impacted. Many others, including Paris Hilton and Anthony Hopkins, also lost their homes to the blaze.

With horrific fires ravaging neighborhoods in LA, Angelina Jolie and her son Knox were spotted loading up bottles of water to help victims. In Backgrid’s photos, Jolie and her 16-year-old son bought packaged drinking water bottles and loaded them in their car trunk. The mother-son duo appeared somewhat tense as they rushed to help friends who either fled or lost their homes due to the fire. According to the post, she said, “I’m taking care of people.”

The Daily Mail also acquired an exclusive video of the actor and her son in Los Feliz, California. In the clip, she revealed, “We’re having people at our house,” while stacking bags of essential items in the trunk of her vehicle. Meanwhile, Knox helped her to load more bags. The individual later questioned Jolie about her plans to make donations to the relief fund, to which she responded with an affirmative. However, the mom of six clarified, “I’m taking care of people close to me and having them at my house.”

Angelina Jolie and her son Knox are among several other celebrities aiding close ones as well as victims of the devastating LA fires. Residents have opened their doors to family and friends as thousands of people evacuate their homes to flee the blaze. The Palisades fire, one of the deadliest ongoing bushfires, has reportedly destroyed thousands of homes, including mansions belonging to prominent celebrities. The blaze has burned over 23,000 acres with only 13% containment, as per the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
