A few days after Chrissy Teigen and her family had to evacuate their home due to raging LA fires, the model revealed that they were back home. Right in time for her daughter Esti Maxine Stephens’ birthday, the mom of four shared that she could only celebrate the occasion with a John Cena cake. Given Esti’s recent obsession with the WWE legend, it makes for a worthwhile birthday gift amid the uncertainty and anxiety surrounding the wildfires.
Chrissy Teigen shares what life has been like amid LA wildfires
Chrissy Teigen and her husband, John Legend, were among the many celebrities who had to evacuate their homes because of the blazing LA wildfires. On Monday, the model expressed that she was “feeling grateful” to return home. It looks like the family made it back safely in time for Esti Maxine Stephens’ second birthday. While the mom of four couldn’t make any elaborate preparations for the occasion, Teigen shared a picture of a John Cena cake, which was all she could “muster up.”
Chrissy Teigen took to Instagram Stories to share a closer look at the cake for her fans. It appeared to be a chocolate cake with sprinkles on top. The cake further featured two John Cena topper toys, which may or may not be edible. Last month, the model revealed that her 2-year-old daughter “mysteriously became obsessed” with the WWE champion. In a series of videos, Teigen documented Esti playing with a John Cena figurine.
Later, on January 8, the model shared that she and her family evacuated their home due to the LA fires. Pictures and videos showed Teigen, Legend, and their kids and pets safely checked into a hotel. The couple are parents to four kids — Luna Simone, Miles Theodore, Esti Maxine, and Wren Alexander.
As per CNN, the wildfires have wreaked havoc in several areas of Los Angeles, claiming at least 24 lives and leaving thousands displaced. While many celebrities and LA residents like Teigen were forced to evacuate, others lost their homes.
