Mikey Madison enjoyed a big win and swept the trophy for Leading Actress for “Anora” at the 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards. Despite not writing a speech, she heartfeltly expressed her gratitude while collecting the award. Madison arrived on stage after Chiwetel Ejiofor and Leo Woodall announced the Leading Actress winner.
Madison thanked the 2024 film’s director, the team, and co-stars in her acceptance speech. The actor also sweetly honored her mother, saying, “I want to thank my mom she’s not here, but she has driven me to literally hundreds of auditions, helped me put so many on tape, always helps me memorize my lines, and she’s my favorite scene partner.” She added, “So I love you, mommy.”
Following that, Madison gave a shoutout to her fellow nominees. She gushed over the star-studded lineup and said, “I’m just so in awe of all of you.” Madison continued, “You just gave beautiful performances and, really, the highlight of all of this has just been, getting to know all of you.”
Meanwhile, Mikey Madison attended the 2025 BAFTA Awards in a dreamy strapless ivory gown from Prada. The actor also added an elegant touch with a long matching stole wrapped around her arms.
