Meanwhile, Bailey, who recorded the heartwarming moment, was excited about her son realizing it was her.

Halle Bailey couldn’t hold back her happy tears after sharing a video of her son, Halo, realizing she is Ariel in “The Little Mermaid.” In the adorable clip, the mother-son duo sat at home watching the popular Disney movie on the TV when Halo recognized his star mother in one scene. Bailey, who recorded the charming moment, seemed ecstatic when the boy looked at the titular character and said, “Mumma.” She even let out a chuckle out of sheer excitement.
“Is that mumma?” the actor asked the little one, turning the camera toward the TV and then back at him, who had the sweetest smile on his face. Halo again said “mumma” while glaring at the scene, to which Bailey responded, “Yes, that’s mumma.” She then emotionally announced in the caption of her X post, “Guys i’m crying he actually knows ariel is me.” The 1-year-old also appeared to be playing with a toy stethoscope as they enjoyed a cozy night-in at home.
Halle Bailey’s video of her son did not come as a surprise. The Grammy-nominated musician has previously shared multiple photos and videos with her son on social media. Reportedly, she and DDG welcomed Halo in December 2023 and announced their split the following October via Instagram Stories. They have since taken up co-parenting and remain best friends.
