Millie Bobby Brown on how important baby plans are for her
Millie Bobby Brown spoke about her baby plans with her husband, Jake Bongiovi, during an appearance on a recent episode of the “SmartLess” podcast. The star was asked about her “desire” to have children one day. Brown replied that she’s “still really young” but continued to open up about wanting to be a mother since she was a child.
The actor revealed that her mom had her first child when she was 21 and her dad was 19. Brown continued to share that it was her “thing” since she was a “baby,” before she even met Bongiovi, that she “wanted to be a mom” just like her mother was to her, as well as her nan. The “Stranger Things” star said, “My grandmother is like a huge, she was a huge part of my life.”
Brown added that her husband “knows how important” that is to her. The “Enola Holmes” actor continued to share that while she wants to “focus on really establishing” herself as an actor and a producer, she also finds “it’s so important to start a family.” Brown said it’s a “huge thing” for her. The “Damsel” actor then shared, “Jake was like, ‘We cannot do that until we get married.’ So that was his thing.”
Brown continued, “And my thing was I really want a family, I really want a big family.” Following that, the British star also hinted that she would be open to adopting a child in the future. Brown said, “I don’t see having your own child, you know, as really any different as in adopting.” The actor added that the door of her and Bongiovi’s home is “always open.”
