Despite their global popularity, Kim and Khloe Kardashians do not get any special privileges from their kids. While addressing their kids in the latest segment of “The Kardashians,” the sisters opened up about their equation with their kids. As such, when they are away, the children are not exactly clinging to them. The confession came after their 48-hour trip to Mumbai for the Ambani wedding, discovering the kids were unfazed by their absence.
Kim and Khloe Kardashian get candid about their equation with their kids
Balancing stardom and parenthood is a skill celebrities learn and potentially remain publicly candid about. PEOPLE noted Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians,” where the Kardashian sisters remarked on personal nuances with the feat. While Kim and Khloe Kardashian were halfway across the world, their kids exuded nothing but nonchalance. Kim admitted that even if she left her four kids for a week, they “could[n’t] care less.” “I don’t think any of them care,” Khloe added in agreement.
The episode showed the star-studded sisters embarking on a 48-hour trip to Mumbai, India, for the high-profile Ambani wedding. While extravagant celebrations and couture fittings surrounded them, the kids naturally occupied the moms’ minds.
As such, Khloe dialed a FaceTime call to her daughter True, excited to check in on her and show her the ensemble she donned. Contrary to Khloe’s anticipation, True’s reaction was far from enthusiastic. Commenting on her six-year-old child, the “Khloe in Wonderland” host recalled: “[She] just looked at me, uninterested.”
Additionally, she mentioned it was the first time she had been away from the kids for that long, the Kardashian duo confessed their children were perfectly content holding down the fort at home. Parenting in the glamorous Kardashian-Jenner household is thus full of surprises they share with the common world.
Though instances of openly doting on their kids prove the emotional bond the Kardashian moms share with their children, they are growing increasingly independent — a common yet bittersweet parenting experience people share irrespective of their profiles.
