In Sarah Jessica Parker’s opinion, parenting twin girls is actually “likeable,” contrary to others’ “unfair idea” and preconceived notion of what it looks like. She dismissed certain misconceptions about teenage girl twins that suggest bringing them up is complicated during her brief segment on TODAY’s “Jenna and Friends” on Monday.
Parker, who shares daughters Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta Elwell and son James Wilkie with her husband Matthew Broderick, called her girls “interesting” and “really kind and curious.”
Sarah Jessica Parker on parenting twin girls: ‘I really love their company’
Sarah Jessica Parker rejected the “unfair idea” that parenting twin teenage girls is difficult while talking to Jenna Bush Hager and guest co-host Justin Sylvester on “Jenna and Friends.” Parker claimed people often act concerned while talking about her daughters, Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta Elwell.
“I feel like there’s sort of an unfair idea about teenage twin girls,” she noted while adding that she finds her girls “totally likeable.” Hager, the twin daughter of former U.S. President George W. Bush and his wife Laura Bush, agreed with her.
The “Sex and the City” actor appeared enthusiastic while talking about her twins, claiming, “I really love their company.” In addition, she called her daughters and her experience parenting them “interesting” before highlighting that life with them feels like she is “constantly in a control study because you have one of this type and one of this type.”
Parker revealed that her girls, Tabitha and Marion, attend the same school and “have reactions” and how this could “tell the story of a larger group.” The actor then described them as “kind and curious.”
Sarah Jessica Parker shares three kids with her husband, Matthew Broderick – their twin girls Tabitha and Marion, and their older son James Wilkie. Reportedly, James made his small-screen debut with Broderick in an episode of CBS’ comedy-drama series, “Elsbet,” as per Hello! The couple’s daughters recently made a public appearance for the opening night of “Smash” on Broadway at the Imperial Theatre earlier this month.
