Since giving birth her son Lorenzo, former Jersey Shore star Snooki (aka Nicole Polizzi) has come a long way. Snooki has left behind that party girl persona and is embracing motherhood.
Snooki’s Empire
Snooki draws a lot of criticism in the press and on social media, but this mini mogul faces it head on as she builds her impressive empire. Most people don’t realize that Snooki has product lines and endorsements for everything from soda to sunglasses to suntan lotions. She also has a music brand and owns a boxing team! And then there’s her jewelry accessory line, her slippers, and Snooki Couture. She has already written several books, but now the pint sized princess is penning a pregnancy book, too!
Snooki’s Book Deal
She announced the new project, sharing “I am so excited to announce my new book that I’m writing right now on how I viewed my pregnancy and my stories!!! My book was recently signed by Running Press and will be released sometime at the beginning of next year! I hope that this book will help all pregnant ladies out there and also help you realize you aren’t as crazy as you think! This book isn’t advice, it’s what I went through throughout my pregnancy! Can’t wait to finish and share with all of you!!!!”
Snooki has chronicled her pregnancy and delivery on her spinoff show (now heading into its third season!), Snooki & J-Woww. Snooki took a lot of heat after announcing this book, but she assures everyone that it’s not exactly an “advice” book, she’s simply sharing her experience and the lessons learned along the way.
If you follow Snooki on Twitter, you know that this celebrity mom faces her critics and responds to the harsh comments. After announcing her book, a follower Tweeted: “It’s a sad day when a character like Snooki is praised as a role model for #Women.” Snooki’s response was, “I’m no role model. I’m just real. ❤“. And this is her approach to everything. She makes no apologies for who she is.
Snooki is always so outspoken and honest, I think this book will be a great read for moms of any age. We’ll have to wait until next year to see what interesting little nuggets of wisdom she shares with us!
