‘Parenthood’ star Dax Shepard and actress Kristen Bell are married! The celebrity couple, who have been together since 2007, kept things low key and tied the knot at the Beverly Hills County Clerk’s Office yesterday afternoon.
Kristen and Dax reportedly stopped by to get their marriage license and a court employee offered to marry them on the spot and they went for it!
The two got engaged in 2009 and have been waiting to get married until gay marriage was given the seal of approval. They explained, “We’re not going to have a party when half of our friends … can’t do that thing we’re doing. We’re not going to ask them to come celebrate a right they don’t have. That’s just tacky! Forget like anything else, it’s like really tacky for us.”
Kristen and Dax share a daughter, Lincoln, born March 28th, 2013.
