Actress Jaime King may have a lot of famous friends (like Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran above), but it’s BFF and fellow celeb mom Jessica Alba she’s entrusting to be the godmother of her son James Knight. Jaime recently shared with E! that although her friends like Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Malin Akerman are moms now, too, it’s Jessica (mom of two daughters, Haven and Honor) that they all look up to.
Jaime gushed about Jessica’s parenting, “Jessica Alba is the godmother to my son James Knight. She is such an incredible parent and I chose her because she really showed me what it is like to be a great mom and a great working mom.”
She continued, “It was really just watching her over the years, the balance that she creates. She had kids before anyone in our group of friends did and I thought after having a baby, how much courage that takes and how much information you need to know…and watching Jessica really come to her own and create this Honest [company] of all of these products that are good for the planet, good for children. It’s just so great knowing I have someone that is like a sister that did so much for women and families.”
Last month Jaime shared a photo of James Knight’s christening day. She wrote “Life is a constant gift. Our baby blessing this evening for our son #JamesKnightNewman with our beloved godparents @tophergrace and @jessicaalba with daddy @Kyle_newman – we love you!.”
