The British-American actress was Momtastic’s September guest editor. “I’ve always wanted to be a mother,” she shared at the time. “It’s just tough as an actress to know when to time things, and of course you never know when nature will allow you to become pregnant. It was one of those things where I said, ‘When it happens, if it happens, it happens, and hopefully it’ll happen.’”
“It’s such a special, rare thing to be able to have a baby,” she added. “I feel very lucky to be pregnant.”
Shetty and Katdare, who met while staring together in the Broadway production Bombay Dreams, got married in New York City in March 2011.
