It’s official – PAW Patrol is coming to the big screen in 2021!

That’s right, parents of PAW Patrol fans: a feature film starring your kids’ favorite adventurous pups is coming to a theater near you!

“We are thrilled to partner with Paramount and Nickelodeon to bring the PAW Patrol franchise, and the characters that children love, to the big screen,” Spin Master Entertainment’s Executive Vice President, Jennifer Dodge, announced Friday.

“This first foray into the arena of feature film marks a significant strategic expansion for Spin Master Entertainment and our properties. This demonstrates our commitment to harnessing our own internal entertainment production teams to develop and deliver IP in a motion picture format and allows us to connect our characters to fans through shared theatrical experiences,” Dodge says.

In terms of kids’ shows, I didn’t find PAW Patrol nearly as annoying as some of the other shows my kids watched when they were little. And as the owner of a rescue dog, I’m fully admitting that I have a soft spot for it.

No word on the plot yet, but pretty sure there will be a conflict in Adventure Bay, and Ryder and his furry friends will come and save the day. Teamwork will be involved and the phrase “no job is too big; no pup is too small” will probably be tossed around a few times. Also – be prepared to sing the theme song for at least five days after you see the movie.

The Paw Patrol movie is the first feature Spin Master, which is also behind popular toy lines like Hatchimals and Air Hogs.
