2. The Spiderwick Chronicles

The movie shows twin brothers, Jared and Simon Grace, moving into Spiderwick Estate with their mother and sister, Mallory. 3. Coraline

Coraline is a 2009 American stop-motion animated dark fantasy horror movie. The movie follows an adventurous 11-year-old girl who moves to an old house and finds a secret door. 4. Monster House 

When three young teens try to convince police officers, their babysitter, and everyone else around that their neighbor’s house is haunted, their warnings fall on deaf ears. This 2021 comedy horror movie shows Gonzo the Great and Pepe the King Prawn taking on a challenge to prove their worth. 6. Hocus Pocus

Hocus Pocus captures the story of three witches who were executed in the 17th century. But when young boy named Max and his little sister move to Salem, they accidentally lights the cursed Candle of Black Flame, awakening the witches after 300 years to exact revenge and begin a reign of terror. 

7. The House with a Clock in its Walls

The House with a Clock in its Walls shows the journey of Lewis Barnavelt, a young boy, and his uncle. The duo sets out on an adventurous journey to try and find a clock that has the power to wreak havoc in the world.

8. The Addams Family

The supernatural black comedy of 2019 shows the Addams family moving to a derelict asylum in New Jersey to raise their family. But soon problems arise when their child, Wednesday, befriends the daughter of a hostile and conformist local reality show host.
