New In Theaters 8/16/13

 

1. Kick-Ass 2 (R)

Starring  Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloë Grace Moretz, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse

The costumed high-school hero Kick-Ass joins with a group of normal citizens who have been inspired to fight crime in costume. Meanwhile, the Red Mist plots an act of revenge that will affect everyone Kick-Ass knows.

 

2. Lee Daniels’ The Butler (PG-13)

Starring Oprah Winfrey, Forest Whitaker, John Cusack, Alex Pettyfer

As Cecil Gaines serves eight presidents during his tenure as a butler at the White House, the civil rights movement, Vietnam, and other major events affect this man’s life, family, and American society.

 

3. Paranoia (PG-13)

Starring Liam Hemsworth, Gary Oldman, Harrison Ford

An entry-level employee at a powerful corporation finds himself occupying a corner office, but at a dangerous price: he must spy on his boss’s old mentor to secure for him a multi-billion dollar advantage.

 

4. Jobs (PG-13)

Starring Ashton Kutcher, Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad

The story of Steve Jobs’ rise from college dropout into one of the most revered creative entrepreneurs of the 20th century.

 

5. Austenland (PG-13)

Starring Keri Russell, Jennifer Coolidge and JJ Feild

Romantic comedy about a woman obsessed with Mr. Darcy of “Pride and Prejudice”. She travels to a Jane Austen theme park in search for her perfect guy.

1. Olympus Has Fallen (R)

Starring Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman and Aaron Eckhart

A disgraced former Presidential guard finds himself trapped inside the White House in the wake of a terrorist attack; using his inside knowledge, he works with national security to rescue the President from his kidnappers.

 

2. The Big Wedding (R)

Starring Robert De Niro, Katherine Heigl, Amanda Seyfriend and Topher Grace

A long-divorced couple fakes being married as their family unites for a wedding.
