Sunday Beauty Ritual-Philosophy Microdelivery Peel

Let’s fix that in four minutes, once a week.

A few years ago I had learned of the benefits of peels, but didn’t have the time (or, quite frankly, the budget) to head to my dermatologist or aesthetician to have one.  My skin needed… something.  A way to brighten it or to revive it and CERTAINLY a way to start attacking the fine lines that had snuck up on it recently.

Sneaky lines.

Late one night, in a fit of insomnia, I was browsing TV channels and stumbled across a Philosophy presentation on QVC.  I liked their approach and I liked that there were “in home” options and after a bit of research, decided to head to my nearest department store to pick up one of their Microdelivery Peels.

I’ve been a customer ever since.

This peel, start to finish, takes four minutes.  FOUR.  Even I, with my schedule, could make four minutes fit in for some improved skin – and boy am I glad I did.

The peel works in a few ways.  It contains lactic and salicylic acids, combined with natural enzymes and a fruit acid complex to deeply exfoliate the skin.  At the same time it inspires a faster rate of cell turnover thus improving the skin’s appearance.  On top of that it is rich with anti-oxidants for skin protection.  I’ve seen fine lines soften, my skin brighten and have a generally smoother complexion overall.

On an economical note, this $65 kit has lasted me a year.  You use very little product – and not more than one or two times a week.  It is well worth the investment.

I follow this up with their famous Hope in a Jar moisturizer.  It’s my 4.5 minute Sunday beauty ritual.

And we’re both worth it.
