DIY Detox Bath

For all the mamas that are going nonstop from bright and early to late at night, taking a warm bath feels like twenty minutes of heaven. Why not make it extra amazing with this DIY detox bath? This is a soothing way not only to relax your muscles, but to assist your body in cleansing out all the impurities and toxins. This detox is also good for people going through chemotherapy, diabetes, muscle soreness, and much much more. Take five minutes out of your day during naptime to create this amazing concoction, and once you put the kiddos to sleep for the night you will have warm bath to dive into and prepare you for another crazy week.

Tip: You can throw the dry ingredients into some Mason jars so they are readily available whenever you feel you need a detox, up to three times a week, and just add the vinegar right before you’re about to hop in.

Supplies:

  • 2 cups of Epsom salt
  • 1-2 cups of raw apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup of aluminum-free baking soda
  • 3 tablespoons of ground ginger

Begin by turning on the hottest water you are comfortable with so you will sweat. Your skin is your largest organ, and sweating is one of the best ways to rid your body of toxins. Pour all the ingredients into the flowing faucet water to allow even disbursement of the ingredients. Light some candles, grab your favorite book, and soak for about twenty to thirty minutes.
