This pretty flower pin is super easy to make and a great way to use leftover rick rak from another project
Supplies:
- Rick Rak (about 80 inches long)
- Glue gun
- Pin
- Thread (optional)
Cut two pieces of rick rak 40 inches long. Hold them together at the top and start to weave them around eachother as shown above. They should fit nicely together without forcing
The rick rak should look like this when done
Now start to roll it up at one end
Every couple of inches add a dot of glue. The thread which is optional, can be added at this point. Thread it through each side as you’re rolling it up. I only used glue which seemed to hold it fine.
Keep on roling and glueing. It’ll start to resemble a bud soon!
When you’re done the flower will look something like this.
Add a line of glue along the back and firmly press and hold the pin into place. Wait for it to dry and pin to your favorite shirt!
