As summer winds down, the box office heats up.  Check out all of the new flicks coming out today!

New in theaters today 8/19/11:

 

1. Conan the Barbarian (R)

Starring Jason Momoa, Rose McGowan, and Ron Perlman

The tale of Conan the Cimmerian and his adventures across the continent of Hyboria on a quest to avenge the murder of his father and the slaughter of his village.

 

2. One Day (PG-13) ** Highly recommend this one! (only after you’ve read the book first!)

Starring Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess

After spending a night together on their last night of college, Dexter and Emma form a bond and wind up reconnecting off and on over the next 20 years – for better or worse. 

 

3. Fright Night (R)  Comedy/Horror

Starring Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell, and David Tennant

A teenager suspects that his new neighbor is a vampire.

 

4. Spy Kids: All the Time in the World in 4D (PG)

Starring Jessica Alba, Jeremy Piven, and Joel McHale
