But not just any accessories… practical, everyday things that they use at home and at school. Shains allows my boys to use their own unique style to make and personalize everything from bookmarks and key chains to notebooks and belts. Then, when they get bored or think of a new idea, they can easily change it. And trust me, it happens more than you think. Everything is interchangeable so your child can build on his collection easily (and affordably) as new styles are available. Finally there is a customizable system that’s not just for girls… my boys’ love their Shains! And mommy loves them, too because they are all made from recycled materials and packaged with recycled paper.
My personal favorite is the Save The Animals Bookmark Set– including 50 endangered species icons. 10% of all the sales in the Save The Animals Shainsware category go directly towards the Jane Goodall Institution. Both my son and I use the bookmarks (we also use the Shains bracelets as bookmarks, too).

The Bracelets and Cuffs are a huge hit with my son and his friends. He has done everything from his name to the name of his favorite toy to simple symbols representing how he is feeling on any given day. I love the new Halloween Theme Kit and might have to get that to add to my son’s collection…
Speaking of adding to his current collection, you can never have enough letters, numbers and symbols with the Element Packs!
Then you have to get the super cool Metal Urges Rock and Roll set. I use these as part of my son’s rewards system cause they are “special”.
The Notebook is a great piece to have for a boy that loves to sketch. The pages are unlined so it makes a perfect draw and doddle keeper. Talk about all around creativity… my son decorates both the inside and out.
The Key Clip is a huge hit, too. My son has one clipped to his backpack zipper with his initials on it (as well as a peace sign, happy face and picture of the earth).
