Jessica Alba shares how she and Cash Warren decided on their new daughter’s name.
Jessica gave birth to her second daughter, Haven Garner, seven weeks ago and the new mom gives a little peek into why they chose that name and how their new little bundle of joy is doing. Jessica says that the name was inspired by her entry into the world – Haven was delivered still inside her amniotic sac.
“Cash said, ‘She was born in her safe haven’. And so there we had it.”
She shares that they assumed she’d look just like their oldest daughter, Honor Marie:
“I really only expected my child to look like Honor. When the two of us made such a different-looking kid it was, like, ‘Okay, I guess we can do this too!’ It was a nice little surprise.”
Haven has started smiling and the whole family is smitten:
“She just started smiling. “[The other] morning Cash was talking in her ear, whispering and kissing her and she was smiling the whole time. It’s an amazing connection.”
