DIY Crafts for Kids: Color Block T-Shirt

Making a Color Block T-Shirt is a fun craft you can do with your kids. This unbelievably easy DIY project will take you minutes to complete and your little one can pick out whatever color combo he or she wants! This is also a great way to cover up any stained shirts. (Don’t worry! We won’t tell . . .)

Supplies:

  • fabric Paint (let your child pick the color!)
  • t-shirt
  • paint roller
  • Masking Tape

Instructions:

Step 1: Tape off the area you want to paint. I went with a large color blocked stripe down the middle, but you could do it any way you like. Try a diagnol stripe, or if you want to get fancy, try a shape! Squirt the paint directly on the shirt and use the roller to and roll away. Don’t paint outside the tape border!

Step 2: Let the shirt dry overnight. Then wash it and dry it to help the paint set in. That’s it! You’re good to go!
