Finding clever ways to re-purpose “found objects”, that may already be stored somewhere in your home, and possibly even headed for the trash or landfill, is a great way to become more environmentally conscious.
It’s also a great way to model for your kids what it means to be resourceful and creative. So hopefully they’ll learn that you don’t always need to run out and “buy” something new every time the need for an items arises. Plus, they’ll grow up having with the natural mentality to always re-use things and not waste them, so they won’t end up becoming landfill.

Over the years I’ve seen recycled wine barrels and wine staves put to use as planters, dining tables, and even fences, but this is the first time I’ve seen them used as a Wine Barrel Dog House.
