Ashley Tisdale, who is pregnant with her second child, recently spoke to Parents about her journey as a parent and how she is preparing for the arrival of her baby. Tisdale, fondly known as Sharpy Evans from High School Musical, already has a three-year-old daughter, Jupiter. The actress in the interview revealed that she has decided to become unapologetic about the feelings that come with being a pregnant and expectant mother.

Ashley Tisdale says she’s ‘allowing herself to feel however she wants to feel’
In an interview with Parents, Ashley Tisdale opened up about her journey into motherhood once again, now that she is pregnant with her second child. The actress revealed that she had decided to embrace her feelings without thinking twice. She said, “I just allow myself to feel however I want to feel. I am not like a huge napping person, but being pregnant, you get tired. And so I’m just like, I need to take a nap. I tell my husband, “It’s your turn, now. I need rest.””
The High School Musical star expressed that she realized how difficult it is to be pregnant and the importance of understanding one’s needs. She stressed the importance of ” being mindful, meditating, and remembering to be present.” Meanwhile, Tisdale also spoke about her body care line Frenshe, which the actress reportedly created while she was pregnant with Jupiter. She expressed her excitement about being able to use them for the second time around.
The singer also noted that the second pregnancy would be very different from that of her first. She said, “I think with your first kid, you’re like, “I’ve got this!” But, with two, I know it’s going to be a whole different thing. So, I’m prepared to know that there may be more chaos around here, but I’ve chosen to lean into that, and not fight it.”
Furthermore, Tisdale confessed that her daughter Jupiter is very sure of herself and has always known what she wanted. She noted that it was important for children to have their agency and voice early on in their developmental journey. The actress stressed the importance of having kids understand that there is no harm in being different than others.
