Trina McGee opened up about her miscarriage months after announcing pregnancy at the age of 54. McGee and her husband, Marcello Thedford, made a special appearance on “The Tamron Hall Show” to talk about their loss. The actress revealed she lost her baby earlier in the pregnancy. Addressing guests, Tamrom Hall said, “You revealed to me that you were no longer pregnant.” The host recalled that McGee told her the story over a phone call before their scheduled appearance on the talk show.

Trina McGee then responded to Hall’s statement concerning her miscarriage, confirming, “I did lose the baby.” The “Boy Meets World” star mentioned how it was an unexpected turn of events that occurred “closer to the end of the first trimester.” She continued, “We don’t have any real reasons why.”

Nonetheless, McGee claims she is “still so grateful to have the experience of being able to conceive at this age and this time.” The now-55-year-old proclaimed she suffered from “a lot of depression” after the miscarriage, adding that “it was hard to get out of bed.”

On the subject of family and miscarriage, Trina McGee further said, “There are so many things that come when you really want a family and you want your family to be complete. There are so many dreams that you have.” McGee now believes that “that’s not going to happen at this point in the junction,” which is a hard-to-swallow pill for her.

Trina McGee, who already shares three children with her first husband, Courtland Davis, then spoke about her pregnancy. She claimed to have turned to “natural remedies” such as visiting a holistic healer who helped her get pregnant at 54. McGee also explained that it was a fun process to try to expand their family.

Additionally, when Tamron Hall asked her why she chose to announce her news earlier in her pregnancy, McGee exclaimed she was just too “excited” to wait. She then talked about “women who, even at 55 and older, still want to get pregnant” without being defined by their ‘advanced maternal age.’ The mother-of-three later clarified that “everybody’s body is different, and you should listen to your doctors.”

Trina McGee said she “doesn’t ever want to go through” a miscarriage again. She concluded on the note, “We’ll just keep loving each other, if something happens that way, fine, but I don’t want to put another anxiety on myself. Sometimes it really is better to let go and let God.”

McGee also played a part in Disney’s “Girl Meets World” which starred Sabrina Carpenter.
