On Monday, Patrick Mahomes shared a clear message for his daughter by reminding her it was time for bed. However, his message had the reverse effect, as Brittany Mahomes took to Instagram to let him know that their daughter instead had “the zoomies.” The interaction between the family was an adorable parenting moment, with fans noting that the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback was very “likable.”
Brittany responds to Patrick Mahomes’ message to daughter
Patrick Mahomes left a message for his family back home while speaking with ESPN. The professional quarterback exclaimed, “Hey, Sterling, go to bed!” Patrick and Brittany Mahomes’ daughter is currently three years old and wasn’t present at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. New Orleans Saints game.
While Sterling wasn’t present for the Monday Night Football game, she helped kick off the NFL season. Patrick and Brittany Mahomes’ second child, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, was also present during the event. The family has another member on the way, with the couple having announced their pregnancy in July.
What made the parenting moment all the more adorable was Sterling’s reaction to her dad’s words. Brittany Mahomes posted on her Instagram stories later that day, stating, “She in fact got the zoomies after she saw this.” While Patrick was hoping to put his daughter to sleep, closing out his interview in a fun way, his message had the opposite effect on the 3-year-old.
Brittany brought her little one to several games, including the season-opening on September 5. The Chiefs played against the Baltimore Ravens, winning the match with a 27 – 20 score. Besides cheering for her dad on the sidelines, Sterling has been getting in the spirit of Halloween. According to PEOPLE, Brittany Mahomes posted a video on her Instagram stories of her daughter getting creative with spooky season-themed cookies, noting that Sterling “loves baking.”
