The singer recently attended the Savage X Fenty Lavish Lace Collection Preview at Nordstrom in Los Angeles where she opened up about her choice of clothing as a mother of two. The businesswoman, whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, shares two sons, Rza and Riot, with her longtime partner, A$AP Rocky.
Rihanna reveals her preferred ‘mom-uniform’ is anything stretchy
Rihanna spoke to PEOPLE at the Savage X Fenty Lavish Lace Collection Preview event and shared the kind of clothing she looks for as a mom. She said, “Anything that’s cozy, anything that’s stretchy, anything that’s easy to bend down and pick my kids up in.” It’s safe to say most mommas will relate to the “Diamonds” hitmaker’s preference. Rihanna shared that she opts for clothing that doesn’t “scratch” her or the kids. The 36-year-old added, “We’ve got a lot of work to do in a day of a life of a mom.”
Earlier this year, Rihanna also gushed about being a mother to two boys. The singer told E! News that she feels “really cool to be a boy mom.” Rihanna continued that she gets the opportunity to be “casual and busted,” further adding, “But it also forces me to embrace the epic things about being a woman, and a female and all my femininity.”
The mom of two explained that as the only woman in the house, she is the one who gets to “experience” certain things, such as — “giving birth” to her sons, “carrying them,” “being a partner with Rocky,” managing the house as well as her family. She said, “It’s new territory, but it’s empowering.”
Recently, A$AP Rocky also opened up about his two sons’ personalities. In an interview with W Magazine, the rapper shared that Rza is an “introvert,” and thinks he “is going to keep to himself.” Rocky continued, “Rza is more so like his dad, like me,” and added, “He’s my twin.” Meanwhile, Riot is “just like his mom,” an “extrovert.” The rapper didn’t hold back from gushing about how Rza’s forehead is just like Rihanna’s. Rocky said, “I love my boy’s big forehead! I loved it on his mother.”
