Zoë Saldaña Cheers for Moms Making the ‘Ultimate Sacrifice’ for Their Dreams

On October 15, Zoë Saldaña took to Instagram to celebrate fellow working moms who are not giving up their dreams after having kids. The actor opened up about how hard it was to be away from her little ones and further encouraged working mothers to “trust the process” and keep moving forward. She noted that their mom’s “dreams are their’s too,” so fellow mamas should continue working towards achieving their goals and dreams.

Zoë Saldaña celebrates moms in new Instagram post

Zoë Saldaña recently showed her vulnerable side on Instagram, admitting, “Being on the road is hard when you’re away from your children.” In the post, the actor was dressed as her “Guardians of the Galaxy” character, Gamora. With her skin painted all green, she looked stunning in a black leather catsuit that is signature to Gamora’s looks. Saldaña’s kids didn’t seem phased by their mom’s unique look, staying beside her as they played with their bottles. As parents often like to dress their twins, Cy and Bowie donned matching pajamas in the cute Instagram post.

The actor commended working mothers for making the “ultimate sacrifice.” While parenting can often get in the way of achieving one’s goals and dreams, Saldaña encouraged fellow working moms to “trust the process” and keep striving hard without giving way to ‘mom guilt.’

Saldaña is a mom to three kids — Cy, Bowie, and Zen. 9-year-olds Cy and Bowie are twins, and the actress welcomed her third son, Zen, with her husband, Marco Perego-Saldaña, in 2017. In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE earlier this year, Zoë Saldaña noted that while parenting three boys is surely “a workout,” she found it “a lot of fun.” She also admitted that they have a “loud household,” but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
