Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are expanding their family as the couple’s third baby is on the way. The Marvel star recently shared that the two are keeping their third child’s gender a secret. Pratt and Schwarzenegger, who tied the knot in 2019, share two daughters, Eloise Christina, 2, and Lyla Maria, 4. The actor also has a 12-year-old son, Jack, from his previous marriage to Anna Faris.
Why Chris Pratt is not ready to talk about baby no. 3’s gender yet
Chris Pratt recently joined Millie Bobbie Brown on a segment of the “TODAY” show to discuss their new sci-fi film, “The Electric State.” After sharing an exclusive first look at the movie’s trailer, the actors engaged in a candid conversation. At one point, Pratt revealed he has “an intuition” about his and Katherine Schwarzenegger’s third baby’s gender.
As the baby is due in just a couple of weeks, Pratt was asked if it is a boy or a girl. The father of three replied, “We don’t know.” Pratt continued, “I’ve got my son Jack and then the two girls. So, we don’t know. We’ll wait.” Brown chipped in and stated Pratt wasn’t “lying.” The “Stranger Things” star said, “He really doesn’t know.”
The 45-year-old actor explained he has “a feeling” — “an intuition” — about what the baby’s gender is. However, Pratt said he didn’t want to say it now just in case he was wrong. The star joked that if his upcoming baby sees the segment, it may be “confusing for them.” Pratt then humorously added, “One day, child, you’ll know, I knew. I knew exactly who you were.” The hosts continued to congratulate the soon-to-be father of four.
Helmed by the Russo Brothers, Chris Pratt and Millie Bobbie Brown’s upcoming film, “The Electric State,” will arrive on Netflix in 2025.
