Kylie Jenner Reveals What Having Kids ‘Really Young’ Did to Her Body

Kylie Jenner recently opened up about embracing motherhood at a “really young” age and its impact on her body. In an interview with Elle, Jenner revealed that she struggled with body image issues during her pregnancies. She also discussed her postpartum journey and how her family and friends helped her.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder is a mother to two children, Stormi and Aire, whom she shares with ex-partner Travis Scott.

Kylie Jenner says stretch marks were new for her when she got pregnant at 19

In her Elle interview, Kylie Jenner talked about her body image struggles during pregnancy. The Khy founder, who experienced her first pregnancy at the age of 19, recalled, “Having a baby really young was more shocking, maybe, because I saw these changes happening to my body.” She remembered having stretch marks and other changes that she wasn’t accustomed to seeing on herself.

Jenner gave birth to her daughter Stormi in February 2018. Four years later, she and Travis Scott became parents to son Aire. Meanwhile, the entrepreneur said that she had suffered from postpartum depression. She recalled feeling like she was in “autopilot” mode. However, Jenner mentioned that her family, including her mom Kris Jenner, her sisters, and her friends supported her throughout.

The makeup mogul further elaborated that becoming a mother in the first half of her twenties and then getting back into finding herself has helped her find her “authentic style.” She candidly admitted that her early 20s were about raising her children, learning about her personal style, and eventually losing it.

She further remembered struggling with her dressing sense and putting on 60 pounds during both pregnancies. However, Jenner revealed that she has finally found herself again. She said, “It took me a year to feel like myself again. At 27, I feel more confident and more like myself than ever.”

During the interview, Kylie Jenner also spoke about spending more time offline, finding herself back on Tumblr for “inspiration,” protecting her kids from social media, and her renewed friendship with Jordyn Woods.
