Sophie Turner reveals having kids made her a ‘hard-working mum’
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Sophie Turner shared that becoming a mother changed her “so much in every way.” The 28-year-old opened up and said, “Before I had kids, I was very depressed and anxious.” She recalled that she used to “isolate” a lot, but she now lives her life for them.
Turner further shared that she wants her kids to see her “having a social life and enjoying work and thriving” in her “career and relationships.” Furthermore, she wants her daughters to see her as “a hard-working mum.” Turner said, “I’ll come back and say, ‘This is why Mummy was away — it’s because she’s doing this for you, so Father Christmas can come with a big bundle of presents.'”
During the interview, Turner also shared being at home alone without her children is “absolute agony.” Willa and Delphine are currently living with their father, Joe Jonas. Meanwhile, Turner is staying with a friend in London. While she was living in the U.S. with her ex-husband, she suffered from homesickness. However, she is “so happy to be back” to her homeland after six years. Turner said, “It felt as if my life was on pause until I returned to England.”
Turner is now enjoying the bliss of her new relationship. The star recently took to her Instagram to wish her new boyfriend, Peregrine Pearson, a happy birthday.
