However, Rowie proved everybody wrong by slipping away into the most unusual hideout where nobody, even viewers of the viral post, could find him despite the bright daylight and plain sight.
Mom of two, Maggie Robertson, captured the convivial moment while she played the hiding game with her 2-year-old son. The clip showed Maggie walking toward and into the bedroom where the boy not-so-sneakily hid underneath the overflowing duvet on the bed. Unfortunately, only his face remained hidden as he sat on the floor with the rest of his body on complete display for his mom to find, proving his efforts to master the game utterly unsuccessful.
Something that made the toddler’s hide and seek video a truly special parenting moment was his mom’s attempts to constantly hype him up despite spotting him on the first go. She then pretended to look for him in other potential hiding spots in the room while focusing the shot on the boy, who seemed totally and adorably confident in his skills. The elder sister and family dog soon joined the efforts – a detail viewers didn’t miss. The 2-year-old ultimately lifted the covers and flashed the widest smile before covering his face again.
