Baby’s Lullaby Had the Opposite Effect on Dad in Hilarious Video

It’s true that actions speak louder than words. But, this baby’s actions and words were equally loud as she sang a lullaby for his sleeping dad, which triggered an opposite effect. Rooming with a newborn is never easy, and while Bailey proved that right, his parents didn’t seem like ones to back down from a challenge. Becky, the mom, captured the hilarious parenting moment and shared her baby boy’s considerate efforts, which sadly had a different and funny outcome on TikTok. The post has been racking up views with the comical reactions.

Baby’s lullaby is not doing its job for dad in funny video

Parenthood, especially with newborns around, encompasses countless sleepless nights, but it’s all worth it with heartwarming moments like these. A viral TikTok captured a baby’s humorous lullaby for his dad that failed to do its job and woke everybody up. A first-time mom, Becky, documented her baby boy’s hilarious cooing, comparing it to a lullaby, in the middle of the night as the family of three tried to share a room. It immediately backfired, defeating its own purpose, and produced the memory that they will surely keep close to their hearts.

The text over the post explained, “When daddy is trying to sleep for work but you have been rehearsing a lullaby to help him sleep x.” Bailey, lying comfortably and wide awake in his cradle next to his parents’ bed, looked absolutely adorable in his onesie, staring up at Becky with his beady eyes. Meanwhile, the mom, who clearly couldn’t stop laughing at the dad’s situation, recorded her boy singing in his baby voice. She even briefly captured the baby daddy’s reaction as he clearly struggled to sleep, which will have you rolling all over the floor laughing.

Moreover, the video of the baby singing his dad a lullaby amassed millions of views and reactions from other users, who cracked up after seeing it. “It’s very considerate of the baby to sing dad to sleep, I think!” wrote one user, while another claimed that “that cuteness” would make sleeping difficult for them too. A third user joked that it sounded like the beginning of Coldplay’s “Hymn for the Weekend,” as they agreed it was indeed “cute.”
