In addition to sharing the baby's photo, they explained that their child is named after his great grandpa Tobias, which means "the goodness of God."
"Adam and I so in love with our lil guy and are stoked to share life with him!" Hamilton added.
Hamilton, along with Dirks, announced that she was expecting a baby boy on YouTube last February.
The surfer's story of perseverance is known by millions of people worldwide (and it inspired the 2011 movie Soul Surfer). She was just 13-years-old when her left arm was severed by a tiger shark as she surfed on the North Shore in Kauai, Hawaii. One year later, she was back on her board and competing in surfing competitions again. She turned pro in 2007.
